Vashtie Kola was born and raised by her Trinidadian parents in Albany, NY. She later moved to New York City to follow her dreams of being in the film world and later attended The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan for directing/cinematography. Vashtie Kola has worked with artists like Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, JadaKiss, Justin Bieber, and muchos mas! (much more)
  In 2008 Vashtie created her own clothing line called Violette inspired by uptown and downtown, hip-hop and rock, feminine and masculine, casual and couture.
