Recently, I had the lovely opportunity to interview these two talented and ambitious women. Below is the interview as well as a few photographs from the event. Also, be sure to check out their website here and follow them on Instagram and Twitter @LizandBee.

A: What advice do you
have for other young business women hoping to one day own their own
business?
LB: We
would tell all young women to start TODAY, now! There will never be a
"perfect" time, life will always happen, you just have to go with
your gut and follow your dreams.
A: What was the
inspiration (or type of style) behind the "Uptown Exchange" line?
LB: The inspiration behind
Uptown Exchange is high fashion. Most retailers have an exclusive line that is
inspired by Avant-Garde looks, we wanted to give Liz & Bee the exact same
objective.
A: Where do you see
Liz&Bee in the next five years?
LB: In 5 years, Liz & Bee will have store front in Atlanta, and
working on a second in another large city. We want to do more than just sell
clothing, we want to eventually design our own line that is inspired by our own
personal style.
A: What type of woman
does Liz&Bee cater to?
LB: Liz & Bee caters
to any woman with style. Generally the woman is between the ages of 17 and 35.
We like to create looks that can be achieved in the office but also transitions
to after 5 affairs.
A: What is your
favorite part about owning a business?
LB: Our favorite part
about owning a business is having full control over creativity and style, though
this sounds wonderful, it takes passionate and ambitious people to become
entrepreneurs.
A: If you could pick
any celebrity to represent or be the face of your boutique, who would it
be?
LB: This is a difficult question, I would like someone with class, style, integrity
and inspires the youth. We'd have to go with Lauren "Keke" Palmer.
She's young, beautiful and has a great sense of fashion. We feel as if she
would be the essence of what Liz & Bee is as a brand.
