A Little Taste of Spring (trends 2010)

So in about 4 days Spring Break 2010 will be coming to an end. I know you're all sad, dreading to see that awful teacher you have, or the boy who just can't take a hint. But there's at least one thing you can be excited for, and that's getting to show off your mile long legs, sexy shoulders, or toned arms. Now please remember if your school has a strict dress code and you wear any of these looks, that shirts must be AT LEAST three fingers wide, no midriff (which I'm infamous for), skirts/dresses can only be 2 in. above the knee, and no major cleavage....

From neutrals and feathers to peek-a-boo mesh panels and schoolgirl chic, here's what you'll be wearing this season, hot off the runways of fashion week!

Metallics

Recession? What recession? Many designers have been using sparkle, glitz, and shimmer to distract consumers attention away from retails continuing woes.

Feathers

Designers took a renewed interest in feathers for spring of all colors and textures. This frothy look added a playful levity to the runways this season.

School Spirit

Back-to-school season may be September, but the spring collections were packed with knee socks, preppy stripes, gym clothes, and academic blazers.

Garden Variety
